Tasting Notes
There’s nothing quite like the smell of Grenache, especially when it's farmed organically from the famous Rossi Ranch. A medley of wild strawberries, gardenias, milk chocolate, warm earth, iron ore, smoked meat, pine trees and pepper transition into a palate full of red fruits, crushed minerals, and baker’s chocolate. Aged in 20% new French oak, the Grenache is co-fermented with Mourvèdre and topped with a splash of Syrah for some added weight and heft. The result is a densely elegant liquid interpretation that perfectly showcases why Rhone varietals have found a true home in the hills of the Sonoma Valley.
