Tasting Notes
Aromas of ripe raspberry, black cherry, and plum are layered with hints of dried herbs and warm baking spice. The wine is juicy and generous, while also delicate, containing a core of brambly fruit, subtle savory undertones, and a touch of smoky oak. Supple tannins and a long, smooth finish round out this blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Zinfandel, making it both bold and balanced--with food or on its own.

A medley of wild strawberries, gardenias, milk chocolate, warm earth, iron ore, smoked meat, pine trees and pepper transition into a palate full of red fruits, crushed minerals, and baker’s chocolate.
Vineyard Notes
The result is a densely elegant liquid interpretation that perfectly showcases why Rhone varietals have found a true home in the hills of the Sonoma Valley. Rossi Ranch Vineyard. Red iron rich soils.
Production Notes
Mourvèdre and Grenache co-fermented. Mourvèdre whole cluster foot tread in open top fermentors, then de-stemmed with Grenache added on top. Syrah from same vineyard, fermented whole cluster and blended before bottling. Twice a day delestage during peak of ferment. 33 days on skins.
